Music and happiness go hand in hand!
Toes start tapping; hands begin to pat out the beat; smiles creep onto faces; voices join together; laughter breaks out; memories are shared...
This is what a community of singers looks like. This is the Young at Heart Music Senior Sing along Program.
The Young at Heart Music Programs is devoted to bringing the joy of music and singing to seniors with decades of life experiences and memories tied to music. Mary Sue specializes in serving people living with dementia and is endorsed by leading dementia care educator Teepa Snow. Both Mary Sue and Miriam bring music sessions to a variety of senior living communities, from memory care to independent living. They are also available for special events such as holiday parties. Building relationships with the residents and staff is a hallmark of the Young at Heart Music Program. Discounts are offered to senior living communities that commit to weekly music sessions.
Call or email Mary Sue for rates and scheduling.
